  5. USAGE
  6.  E[scape] [<new_escape_character>]
  7.  
  8. DESCRIPTION
  9.  The  escape  command, when  entered by  itself, will display the
  10.  character that  is currently set  as the  escape character. This
  11.  character  is what  will be  used if you  want to  exit from the
  12.  current  session.  For  instance,  if you have  started a "chat"
  13.  session, and you don't get  any response from the operator after
  14.  waiting a few  minutes,  you can  enter  the  escape  character,
  15.  followed  by  a  <RETURN>  or  <ENTER>, and the  session will be
  16.  terminated.  You will then be returned to the MBOX prompt.

  18.  The escape  character may be  changed to one  of your preference
  19.  by entering "escape"  followed  by a  <SPACE> and  the character
  20.  that will  become  the  new  escape  character.  This  must be a
  21.  single typed character (the CTRL key may be used in addition).
